About Kristofer Dan-Bergman Kristofer Dan-Bergman is a Swedish-born photographer residing in New York City. Over the past 15 years, his worked has spanned documentary, fine arts, editorial and commercial photography. He is the recipient of two APANY Awards, and is represented in the permanent collection of the International Center of Photography. Mr. Dan-Bergman's work was also included in the "Fatal Love" exhibition at the Queens Museum of Art in 2005.
His documentary exhibitions include "Garissa Hospital, Kenya", "Mali" and "Rajasthan" as well as the fine art shows "Touch", "Unbound" and "Extremities". "Agile," another recent exhibition, showcased Mr.Dan-Bergman's photographs of the Cirque du Soleil acrobats. His most recent show in the fall of 2006 was "Kawthoolei", a series of portraits shot mainly in the refugee camp Mai La, which is situated on the border between Burma and Thailand. This show was a benefit for the radio producing organization Outer Voices and The Friends Of The Karen.
Kristofer Dan-Bergman's commercial work includes campaigns for Clarins, Panasonic, Tag Heure, Pfizer and Remy Martin. His editorial photography has appeared in the pages of Elle, The Source, Men's Journal and Essence.
